CRAFT SHOP
The craft shop at Delcraft is a mix of ethnographic material on display, art (carving,
painting) exhibits and locally made souvenirs and products. It is open to all local artisans to sell their work, provided that their work is their own and handmade.
The wood craftsman uses local grown, recycled timber or tree prunings (olive, carob, mulberry, juniper) to make a variety of items, from toys, candle holders to spoons, miniature chairs and much more….
The weaver recycles old clothes into rag rugs and shoulder bags. The basket maker has provided a range of golden ‘bamboo’ reed baskets, from small to 3-tier ones, to carry your figs, store your potatoes or give as gifts.
The village women make lace doilies and shawls, pillow covers and bedspreads; as well, jars of jam, marmalades, olive oil, olives and other sweets and pickles line the shelves for your selection.
Make sure you stop by to get your gift shopping done!
